Bands

We are pleased to announce the following bands are booked and have agreed to play this year's festival

This year we will be featuring a line up of 8 bands playing from 2pm until 10:30pm.

The Barbarellas

Once upon a time, in a place they call Leamington Spa, a very unlikely pair stumbled across each others paths; a northern boy and a northern girl...by the cosmic force of vodka, kebabs and music and the need to ROCK!!!...YEAH BABY... They wrote pretty songs and played acoustic sets for a good while until they were on the brink of exploding from lack of making enough noise and then The Barbarellas were born........

Thom Kirkpatrick

A 21st century One Man Band.

Thom Kirkpatrick AKA This Beautiful Noise is quite literally a 21st Century one man band.

Layering vocals, bass, drum-kit, synth, guitar and cajon, live performances are a musical high-wire balancing act for an audience simultaneously uplifted and spellbound that he doesn't fall.

Which is on its own is refreshingly different, a neat musical take on the old patting your head and rubbing tummy routine, but add the melodic-electro-pop gem tunes, and that voice, and it becomes something memorable, moving and something you can't help but engage with.

Thom wasn't always a beat combo of one. His last band Switches signed to Atlantic and Interscope Records, sound-tracked film and TV, played Glastonbury festival, V Festival, T in the Park, Fuji Rock and toured the UK and US with The Fratellis, The Bravery, She Wants Revenge, and Be Your Own Pet.

But, sometimes if a job's worth doing it's worth doing yourself.

Leamington based four-piece band playing classic Kinks.

Valhalla Smith

Valhalla Smith is following in the tradition of hard rock from the middle of England. A strong four-piece running full groove based riffs, solid beats and proper vocals.

Siberian Eel Hounds

Formed in 2008 Siberian Eel Hounds have firmly established themselves as one of Coventry's Premier Rock and Indie covers bands.

Siberian Eel Hounds combine high levels of technical prowess with a vast musical knowledge, which allows the band to perform a set-list which is both diverse and highly entertaining.

The set-list covers five decades with sixties classics from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, while T-Rex and Stevie Wonder cover the seventies. The Jam, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stereophonics, Ocean Colour Scene, The Zutons, Hard-Fi and Kings of Leon to just mention a few ensure fans from the eighties right up to the present day are catered for.

The bands enthusiasm and musical ability have left audiences wanting more meaning they are set for a hectic 2010.

Jet-Pack are a 4-piece Punk/Rock band formed at university in Cheltenham.

Music is the most important thing in the world to us. All we want is to write the songs that we would want to hear and play them to as many people as is humanly possible.

We grew up on a diet of blink-182, New Found Glory and Fall Out Boy and may well be likened to bands such as Paramore, Youmeatsix and Kids In Glass Houses today...however, our influences range from pop-punk, through to rock, metal, hardcore, motown and pretty much everything in between.

February saw the band travel to Prism Studios in Stoke to work with acclaimed producer, Shaun Lowe. The debut studio CD, ‘Whisper in my Ear’, was soon completed and is now ready to be unleashed on the world.

The band recently performed at the Oxford Brookes University Summer Ball and will be appearing at Astonbury and Sugar Hill festivals either side of Napton this year.

Where's Billy?

Cocky yet charismatic, and compared to Queens of the Stone Age and The Offspring it is little surprise that Where's Billy? are gaining industry attention.

The guys have just completed an EP with top producer Simon King (Reuben/YouMeAtSix/ Fightstar). The EP launch party was a packed indigO2 at The O2. Where's Billy? have played London venues frequently, alongside a multitude of gigs throughout the South East. This dedication has earned the band a loyal and growing fanbase, both in their hometown of Tunbridge Wells, and in the capital.

Where's Billy were recently featured and interveiwed on TotalRock Radio, and have strong tour plans for 2010.
